Chris is Director and Chief Product Owner for Checkpoint and Checkpoint Edge, Thomson Reuters premium tax and accounting research platforms.

With more than 15 years of direct product management and development experience, Chris has led or contributed to the digital transformation of many Thomson Reuters products. A constant on this journey has been a passion for helping tax professionals find complete, credible and accessible answers wherever, whenever, and however they are needed.

Having spent countless hours engaging directly with customers, Chris understands the importance of improving answer discovery by unlocking the latest advances in search technology to create a more predictive and contextually relevant experience for Thomson Reuters customers.

Corey Ouellette

Corey leads the Toronto based Thomson Reuters Labs Customer Centre, servicing collaborative innovation across North America. Whether it's running Design Thinking Workshops, focus groups, or enabling other members of the Labs in user research, Corey's focus is to promote customer obsession within the Labs, and to uncover opportunities for customer collaboration and co-development. Many of these opportunities include reimagining what the next generation experience could be for our customers while leveraging the power of AI. Prior to Thomson Reuters Labs, Corey taught Internet Marketing, and the post-graduate course of Social Media Marketing at Conestoga College. Beyond that, during his time at PMG Intelligence he led the launch and growth strategy for their spinout company Qbord, which is now one of Canada’s largest online research panels.
