In this webcast we will cover the fundamentals of using crypto in business. Business stakeholders and clients are looking to their tax and accounting professionals to understand how crypto will impact them.

We’ll cover topics such as accepting and making crypto payments, bonuses and payroll via crypto, crypto cash management and many more fundamentals. Attendees will leave with a high-level framework to better advise their clients and stakeholders on crypto topics and adoption.

Speakers:
John Wandrisco

John is a Direct Tax Sales Executive at Thomson Reuters and has 20+ years of experience in Tax Technology. In this role, his focus is to help large corporations solve their income tax, transfer pricing, statutory reporting, and overall tax data management challenges.
 
Prior to his current role, John lead go-to-market operations at Verady, makers of the Legible crypto tax and accounting solutions for professionals. At Thomson Reuters, he’s held several business, technical and product management leadership roles all in the Tax & Accounting business.

John has a BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas, San Antonio and is working on his MBA at the University of North Texas. He lives in Flower Mound, TX with his wife and two kids, enjoys spending time with his family, various outdoor activities and traveling in his free time.
Shaun Hunley

Shaun is a Tax Consultant with the Tax & Accounting Professional Services team at Thomson Reuters. In this role, Shaun develops and delivers web-based and live training sessions to tax professionals, primarily as an instructor for TaxWatch University. Before accepting this role, Shaun spent a little over five years as an author and editor for Thomson Reuters Checkpoint, with articles featured in PPC’s Practitioners Tax Action Bulletins.

Prior to joining Thomson Reuters, Shaun spent over ten years with national accounting firms. Early in his career, Shaun led research and development tax incentive studies for Fortune 500 companies. Following this, he specialized in tax due diligence, corporate restructurings, and international tax compliance and planning. Shaun also has extensive experience in advising small businesses and closely held companies on a variety of tax matters.

Shaun received a J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law and an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law. In 2018, he was named a “tax expert to watch” by Accounting Today.
